In 1993 Feeling Absolutely FabulousSM CEO Jacqueline Fairbrass began to change her life by being consciously aware of the good things in her life and giving thanks daily. Sounds too simple to be true? Really, she changed her life to one of health and fabulousness beginning with this four simple steps:

Instead of focusing on the negative things in her life: ‘I was unemployed; I did not want to go back into my previous career path; I was in a lousy marriage; Mr. Right turned into Mr. Wrong for me; my eldest daughter was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and allergies; we had lost a wonderful home on a lake in the country; I had fallen out with my parents who didn’t like my lifestyle; my ex-boss owed me money; I was living in a new town and had no friends, and the pounds were packing on…blah, blah, blah.’
Jacqueline turned things around and started counting her blessings; ‘thank you‘ became her mantra. She changed from being a ‘down’ person because she stopped talking about the things in her life that made her miserable and instead focused on the good stuff. She changed unemployed’ to having time to find a new job/career, she started to look at the positive parts of the marriage and focus on the good things in her husband, (seriously, no one is all bad!) she embraced her daughter’s uniqueness, she began to cherish her new home, she celebrated being able to find and meet new friends; she found new friends who became her ‘chosen family‘ and as her confidence grew and her self-worth increased she made new friends. Her relationships improved. She even found the courage to contact her old boss and get the money she was owed!
By 1999 Jacqueline had applied this gratitude principal to her lifestyle and put together the steps necessary to changing life for the better.
Since 1993 Jacqueline has helped her Complementary and Alternative Medicine clients and students to apply her methods to their lives; helping thousands to live better lives—lives of higher self-confidence, higher self-worth and gaining a positive body self-image.
